Greetings from beautiful North- Idaho...America's last, best kept secret.
we're one of the very few frontiers left in the continental U.S.. Pristine water and air so clean, it's a shock to breathe deeply at ground level or up in the mountains!
Most people conjure up potatoes when they think of Idaho, maybe fishing, hunting, hiking and water sports, and that would be pretty accurate if you were to visit on vacation. But...did you know that the best crop grown in North Idaho is: TREES!!!
That's right, we are located about 35 miles from the Canadian Border and for several reasons, our area was blessed with the ability to grow and nourish beautiful and healthy Christmas and Landscape Trees. We can't grow a potato to save our lives, but trees grown in our soil and environment respond in such a way that they become cold hardy, meaning pretty much that if it can grow here, it's bound to flourish just about anywhere.
